What Is the Young Leaders Pathway Forum (YLPF)?

The Young Leaders Pathway Forum (YLPF) is an exciting leadership and career-exploration program designed for students in grades 5 through 12. YLPF helps students discover their interests, build confidence, and develop leadership skills through hands-on learning, interactive workshops, and direct engagement with professionals across a wide range of fields—including medicine, engineering, law, business, national security, and more.

Led by the TTEC Education Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth through education and leadership development, YLPF goes beyond traditional classroom learning. Students don’t just hear about careers—they experience them.

One of the most unique aspects of YLPF is the opportunity to connect with students from both the East and West Coasts, giving participants a glimpse into college-style collaboration while forming friendships within a diverse, nationwide community.

Why Students Love YLPF (and Parents Do Too!)

🌟 Explore Real Careers—Up Close

Students dive into real-world career fields through hands-on activities and engaging sessions led by professionals who share their journeys, challenges, and success stories.

🤝 Find Your Community

YLPF brings together motivated students with shared interests. Many participants leave with new friendships, stronger communication skills, and a sense of belonging.

🎓 Experience a Taste of College Life

By working alongside peers from across the country, students experience what it feels like to be part of a larger academic and social community—a valuable preview of future college life.

🌱 Build Your Network Early

Students have the rare opportunity to meet, ask questions, and connect directly with professional mentors, opening doors to guidance and future mentorship.

🗺️ Leave with a Plan

Each participant walks away with a personal leadership storyboard and a 30-day action plan, helping turn inspiration into meaningful next steps.

Is YLPF Right for Your Student?

Choosing the right enrichment program is a personal decision—and it should align with your student’s goals.

For many students, YLPF is a fun, motivating, and eye-opening experience that sparks curiosity, builds confidence, and introduces new possibilities they may not have considered before. It’s especially impactful for students who enjoy learning by doing, asking questions, and exploring different paths.

A Thoughtful Note for Families

It’s important to recognize that YLPF is one of many pathways to growth and discovery. Opportunities like internships, job shadowing, clubs, volunteer work, and college visits can also be valuable.

However, YLPF offers something rare:

👉 Direct access to professionals

👉 Live Q&A and mentorship opportunities

👉 A structured, supportive environment

👉 Peer connections across regions and grade levels

The real value lies in what your student is ready to gain—confidence, clarity, connections, and direction.

Our Recommendation

YLPF is ideal for students who want an engaging leadership experience, exposure to real careers, and meaningful connections—ALL IN ONE PLACE. When students come with curiosity and an open mind, the experience can be transformative.

If your student is eager to explore, grow, and take the next step toward their future, the Young Leaders Pathway Forum may be the perfect place to begin.
